The original and unsurpassed Audiophile streaming music Player

As demanding listeners and highly experienced electronic engineers ourselves, we spent many hours developing the SB+, and carefully listening to and assessing the results. The result is a player that can compete in audio terms with CD players costing several thousand pounds or more.

The SB+ features SqueezeBox convenience and connectivity, in a custom designed aluminium and hardwood enclosure with a 6mm smoked aqua-blue glass facia. It comes complete with its own dedicated, external linear power supply in matching casework. Other wood/colour options may be available on request.

The SB+ is based on the SB2 and SB3 rather than being a straight-forward modification package: we completely disconnect the clock, DAC, digital and analogue output circuitry of the base SqueezeBox, and fit our own designed circuit boards, together with state-of-the-art multi-stage voltage regulation. To complete the transformation, we add our own linear PSU with a multi-core interconnect to power the Player.

In addition to the improvements we've made to the clocks, power supplies and analogue outputs, we've also carefully re-designed the S/PDIF digital output driver, using a transformer-coupled balanced output circuit.
